Have you ever had one of those nights when you make it a mission to get absolutely knocked-down, blackout drunk?
Of course you have. We’ve all been there, only to wake up the next day feeling like garbage. You may have even felt bad enough that you swore off alcohol. Permanently.
But, what if there was some invention that got you drunk without the side effects of a hangover? Would that be something you’d be interested in?
If the answer is yes, and we wouldn’t see why it wouldn’t be, then you’re in luck: a device that was recently unveiled at a Paris exhibition promises just that.
What’s being called the WA|HH Quantum Sensations is simply a mouth spray that will administer 0.075 milliliters of alcohol. It’s enough to get you drunk, but only for a few seconds. The best part is that after using the spray you’ll be left without a headache, and better yet, you can even pass an alcohol test. This is possible because of the “way that the specially designed spray mechanism pulverizes the liquid into your mouth, the effect is full and instantaneous”.
The spray was developed by French designer Philippe Starck and a French-American scientist, David Edwards.
Interestingly enough, this hasn’t been the first invention by Davis. He invented Whif, which was another spray that allowed a person to taste different flavors, such as chocolate or coffee, without having to eat or drink. The Whif sold some 400,000 units. Later, he invented Whaf, which was an ultrasonic system that mixed different liquids in order to create a cloud of flavor.
Currently the WA|HH isn’t for sale here in the States, but when it is, except plenty of college kids to shell out the $26 for it.
