“Cloud Gaming” is something that may have only been part of the gaming lexicon for the past few years. Although many are now familiar with the services like OnLive and Gaikai, the origin of cloud gaming is much deeper than what gaming fans may know.
After a scientist named Herb Grosch predicted in 1950s that people would be running their computers off huge data centers, IBM’s “Time Sharing” and Xerox’s local area networks all helped to lay the foundation that made cloud gaming possible today.
