With just a couple of months to wait before its release, Capcom posted a couple of images for the final box art of its new Devil May Cry title. The game is set for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, which will land on stores on January 15, 2013.
Although a lot of similar placeholder art are surfacing on the Web, it was reported that the official box art is “a little bit darker, extremely official.”
On another note, players will be able to join Dante on his mission through Limbo with Kat, medium and right hand to The Order, who risks her life to guide the game’s protagonist throughout the mission.
Devil May Cry Pre-order Bonus by Amazon
In relation to the release of the official box art, Amazon offers a pre-order bonus for Devil May Cry. As posted on the online retailer’s Bonus Offer section, buyers will receive exclusive bone weapons and character perks. This will enable players to transform Dante’s shotgun, scythe, and axe into precision crafted bone.
They can also gain access to the orb harvester, letting players collect a bevy of extra red orbs to upgrade their weapons and combos and purchase items, as well. The code for exclusive access will be emailed within two days of the order shipment. This offer will be extended to all pre-orders.
The good thing about this offer is that buyers who will order the game on Amazon can get the lowest price, although restrictions will apply. As posted on the online retail, when the game’s price decreased between the buyer’s order time and the end of the day of the release date, they will offer the title on the lowest price.
Xbox 360 Product Features
In addition to the pre-order bonus, Amazon also posted the game’s product feature that will be available for owners of Xbox 360.
The upcoming Devil May Cry title from Capcom will enable gamers to explore Dante’s early years through a gripping narrative that features familiar faces. They can also take advantage of the protagonist’s Angel and Demon powers to chain together ground-based and aerial combos to acquire the best style ranking.
Furthermore, the intense and known sword- and gun-based action will return, with the addition of new weapons that are designed to dispatch the demonic spawn back to hell in style. Ninja Theory will also use the latest performance technology to provide a level of character design, story telling, and cinematic quality that perfectly fits DMC’s high-octane combat.
