Many of the above "tells" are consistent with someone who is HONEST but just anxious about being accused, yet again. Most of these are no more reliable than a polygraph test (which, by the way, is only "slightly better than chance" according to the National Academy of Sciences). So don't assume you've caught a liar when someone shows such behavior. On the other hand, Dr. Ekman's studies on micro-expressions are something worth learning more about.
