Does Sex Position Call The Shots For A Baby’s Gender?

Old customs were centered around the woman, because it was not understood that the determination of the sex of a baby really depends with the man. All humans’ sex is predetermined in the sperm.

Each parent contributes half of a baby’s genetic make up. The female or mother is genetically an XX, so she is only able to contribute an X to the future baby. The father of the baby is XY and can contribute either an X or a Y. This means that sperm is the deciding factor in how your baby’s sex is determined.

Basically, men produce two types of sperms, one is X-sperm for making baby girl,and the another one is Y-Sperm,needed for conception of boy.The Y-Sperm move quickly than X-sperm,but it is more weaker than the X-sperm.

Position of intercourse and depth of penetration are important. Deep penetration places the sperm closer to the egg, and gives those aggressive boy sperms a head start. So, a shallow penetration will favor girls and a deeper will favor boys.

Boy or Girl: The following are the best positions for conceiving.

Rear Position

Rear Entry is when the man penetrates the woman’s vagina from behind. To start off this position, the woman will go down on all fours, take her weights on her forearms for support. The man will then kneel down behind her and enter her from the back, controlling the thrusting movement with his hips.

Missionary Position

The woman lies on her back, with her legs either spread flat, drawn up toward the chest, or wrapped around the penetrating partner. The woman can wrap one or both of her legs around the man at various heights: at the back of his legs, at the buttocks or back, or over his shoulders. Many people think that the missionary position is good for a girl conception and this is true if you are using it in the traditional way, but a little variation on this technique can achieve very deep penetration that is effective for conceiving a boy. Generally, the higher the woman lifts her legs, the deeper the penetration.

This positions gives access to deep penetration and so the sperm is deposited right at the entrance to the cervix. Y-sperm could beat X-sperm in the short run,but they are too weaker to swim for a long-distance. In other words, deep penetration gives the benefit of conceiving a baby boy. Male sperm also prefer a more alkaline environment for swimming so ladies, avoid dairy and up the sodium intake. Men, drinking caffeine before sex (NOT alcohol!) can boost the speed of your Y’s!

Spooning Position

In the sexual spoons position, the penetrative partner lies on their side, with their knees bent. The man and woman lay together like spoons facing the same direction and he enters her from behind. This position can also be done while facing each other and is called side-laying. Both are fine for shallow entry.

Traditional Missionary Position

The woman lying on her back and the man on top. There are variations on this position that allow for deeper penetration, such as the woman placing her legs over the man’s shoulders, but you’ll want to avoid those.

If you want a female baby, you should use shallow penetration because the boy sperm will have a long, difficult trip as a result, but the girl sperm can live long enough to survive it. Shallow penetration lets the man deposit sperm at the entrance of the cervix, a greater window of opportunity allows the slower, but much more resilient “female sperm” to take their time in reaching their destination. X sperm are the long-distance swimmers, whereas the boy sperm are the sprinters that can wiggle along pretty fast at first, but can’t keep up that speed all the way from the mouth of the cervix to the egg. That means the girls win the race.
