Dial’s Magnetic Body Wash Claims to Get You to First Base

Somehow a lot of men seem to fall for those body wash/body scent ads that turn us into chocolate and have numerous women taking a piece of our body to eat like zombies in a George Romero movie.

So will we fall for Dial’s new Magnetic Attraction Enhancing Body Wash?

The company isn’t making the claim that their new body wash will get you laid, but they are promising that it will at least get you to first base.

Dial recently held a little experiment in New York where nine women were blindfolded and smelled scent strips. Three male subjects used the new Dial product, which contains pheromones, three used a body wash without pheromones and three others used good old fashioned sweat.

The idea behind the experiment was to see if the women would pick a guy based on scent alone.

Only one of the women picked a guy with the pheromone body wash.

Some people believe that pheromones will enhance sex appeal by scent, but some experts aren’t too convinced. They believe that, unlike most animals, people are more inclined to “love at first sight”.

Obviously, scent does play a factor. It can be a turn-on or turn-off. I would imagine using the Dial body wash would be more effective then let’s say not showering for a week. But, you still need to look sharp and be able to hold a conversation, cause body wash alone isn’t going to get a chick from the bar to your bed.

Apparently the biggest determining factor in the appeal of a man by smell is the genetic difference between the subject and source.
