Most recognized as the fictional love of William Shakespeare in the award-winning film Shakespeare in Love, Gwyneth Paltrow is a top notch American actress and country singer and is AMOG’s Star of the Week.
As radiant as she is, Gwyneth came into sight in movies in 1991. Four years later, Gwyneth arise to stardom when she earned early notice for her work in films Se7en, Emma, and Sliding Doors. Furthermore, she gained critical acclaim for her performance in Shakespeare in Love for which she conquered the Academy Award for Best Actress plus a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress.
Gwyneth emerged in the highest grossing movie of her career in 2008: Iron Man and reprising her role as Pepper Potts in its sequel, Iron Man 2.
In 2000, Gwyneth had her singing debut in the film Duets, in which she performed a cover version of the Smokey Robinson song ”Cruisin”. Her version of the song was well-received and as a result, it was released as a single. The song rose up to number one in Australia, while her rendition of the Kim Carnes classic “Bette Davis Eyes” hit number three.
As for her personal life, Gwyneth Paltrow is happily married to Chris Martin of the British rock group Coldplay.
