You're gonna need a bigger boat. – Chief Brody, Jaws (1975)
here's to swimmin with bow-legged women…(Quint) Jaws
There are some mistakes and misquotes and quotes that should have been included or not included. What does it matter? Favorite movies quotes are fun to read.
OMG I love this quote from Clueless " I totally paused." Or " Of course I'm a virgin. You know how picky I am about shoes. And those only go on my feet."
we're gonna need a bigger boat-jaws…isnt that one obvious…and then a little more esoteric…from The 5th Element when Bruce Willis says…after blowing away a couple dozen baddies "anyone else wanna negotiate?"
It's:Fasten your seatbelts. It's going to be a bumpy night.
Not ride. From All About Eve.
From: The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, "Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges! I don't have to show you any stinkin' badges!"
Bullet Tooth Tony: “And the fact that you've got "Replica" written down the side of your guns… And the fact that I've got "Desert Eagle point five O"… Written down the side of mine… Should precipitate your balls into shrinking, along with your presence. Now… F*ck off!”
"Im your Huckleberry"
Seems you only list popular movies. There are a few great lines, that come from less popular movies: Uncomman Valor quote said by Sailor (Tex Cobb) to Patrick Swayzes character:
"Boy… you just bought the whole can of WHOOP- ASS!
Also, some of the ratings are a bit odd, some you listed low on the rating list, should be much, much higher. Granted though, there are a lot of great lines to rank.
Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, you're cool, Fuck you I'm out!
most of the al pacino quotes from the godfather were actually said by marlon brando. fuck this list.
"Tell me, baby, do I make you horny?"-Austin Powers

-love and basketball
"Im his father, you're just the guy fuckin his mother" – The movie: Thank you for smoking
Yeah, I know I'm late to the game, but that has to be the most half assed – shitty list – EVER! It started out good, with some famous lines from the older classics, and then it got to The newer movies and has stuff like shreck, rush hour, and bruce almighty in it? Are you SERIOUS?! Whoever made this list needs to learn the definition of "best" and then go go figure out how it applies to movie quotes, and THEN go watch some really great ones, and THEN…. NOT to write this list. It's awful. You should be ashamed of including some of those newer movie quotes with the classics. SHAME.
The quotes from Aliens should be there. As many others have mentioned.
But, how about Total Recall? Lots of great lines….
Like this one: "Get your ass to Mars!"
deadset
Yippe-ki-yi-yay??? How can you get that wrong? Its yippee ki-yay.
And "I love the smell of napalm in the morning. It smells like victory" Is wrong.
It's "I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like… victory"
If your gonna use quotes that aren't one liners, get them right at least.
Even without the mistakes this is a bad list. But the mistakes are the reason so many people have commented about how bad it is. Try harder in everything you do in future.
worst list ever. rush hour? jesus.
'FUCK YOU DALE. FUCK YOU' – step brothers!! most quotable movie ever.

SNATCH is full of belter 1 liners
