If you’re a frequent visitor to AMOG then you’re well aware that we have a soft spot for sharing artist’s versions of our favorite cartoons and comics. We do this because these pieces of art are just awesome, and not to mention that we’re geeks at heart. One of the coolest things that we saw was Timothy Miller’s stained glass renditions. Now, Brandon Michael Barker is making a name for himself in the same form.
This Indiana based artist has recreated some of the most famous comic book covers into stained glass. The heroes depicted include Superman, Batman, Spider-man, The Fantastic Four and Thor. There’s also Bebop from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for good measure. Besides being exceptional pieces of art, these pieces are for sale. They’ll cost you $300, but they’re framed and a unique decor to spice up your home. So, they’re definitely worth the price. Also, if you have the extra time, check out Barker’s other art. He’s one talented dude.
