Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne will auction his own 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 at the upcoming Barrett-Jacket auction. All proceeds will benefit the United Way for Southeastern Michigan charity.
Marchionne’s Dodge Challenger SRT8 392
Marchionne’s Dodge Challenger is painted in Pitch Black with charcoal racing stripes hand-laid by SRT designers. It is lowered with Mopar adjustable coilovers, and it also features a Mopar exhaust.
The car’s taillights are tinted, while the “392” logos have been recreated with gloss and satin black finishes. Its 20-inch wheels are also done in black. While its interior is basically stocked, its seats have custom black leather with SRT logos embroidered on the headrests.
Moreover, its instrument cluster is equipped with standard information center and performance gauges. Under its hood is the 6.4-liter Hemi that can produce 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque.
The Barrett-Jacket auction will take place in Palm Beach, Florida on April 4-6, 2013. Their annual giving campaign was launched in September with a $35 million fundraising goal, with Marchionne as the campaign chair. Visit their official website for more details.
