Karolína Kurková is a Czech model, best known as a former Victoria’s Secret Angel, and an aspiring actress. She is among the world’s top-earning models.
Karolína was born on February 28, 1984, to Josef Kurka, a Czech basketball player, and a Slovak mother. While Karolína was young, she was made fun of for her height. But after a friend sent photos of Karolína to an agency in Prague, at 15 she landed a runway appearance, as well as a commercial and print advertising.
Additionally, Karolína’s modelling career expands. The lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret chose her to be a part of 2000‘s fashion show webcast, though she was only 16 until 2010.
July 2009, Karolína announced she was expecting a child with her fiancé, Archie Drury. October 29, Karolína gave birth; a baby boy named Tobin Jack Drury, and is the couple’s first child. Karolína revealed that Archie proposed to her whilst on holiday in Cape Town, South Africa.
Karolína lives in New York City‘s TriBeCa district and enjoys courtside basketball games at Madison Square Garden. She is a spokesmodel of Victoria’s Secret. She is good friends with Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs, Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Adriana Lima.
